Configuration steps for using the Command Line Caller

This guide enlists and explains the configuration steps that are needed to use the Command Line Caller.

Configuration steps

  1. Download Ozeki Command Line Caller example. Then extract it to a directory (e.g. C:\CommandLineCaller).

  2. Open the solution in Visual Studio 2010 (CommandLineCaller.sln).

  3. Find these lines at the Main method:
displayName = "CommandLineCaller";
domainServerPort = 5060;
registerPassword = string.Empty;
registrationRequired = false;
localAddress = SoftPhoneFactory.GetLocalIP().ToString();
mp3FilePath = "..\\..\\Resources\\test.mp3";
You can customize the default values for this application using these variables.

  1. Add the OzekiSDK.dll to the project as a reference.

  2. Make a build and run the CommandLineCaller project.

This application can be controlled with command line parameters or arguments. For example:

CommandLineCaller.exe -u oz330 -r oz330 -p oz330 -d oz330 -rr true -host -dialNumber 431

With these parameters I register with the oz330 account to my PBX of which IP address is and then I call the extension number 431.

If you run the example without arguments, you can see the help of the Caller:

Usage: -u oz890 -r oz890 -p oz890 -dialNumber 873 -host
-rr - SIP account registration is required (default value: false)
-u - SIP account username
-r - SIP account register name
-d - SIP account display name (default value: CommandLineCaller)
-p - SIP account password (default value: [empty string])
-host - PBX address
-port - PBX port (default value: 5060
-path - MP3 file path (default value: ..\..\Resources\test.mp3
-localAddress - Your local address: (default value:
-dialNumber - The dialed number

When you purchase a license you can easily activate your demo application by entering the serial number you received from Ozeki after purchase. You can enter the serial number by opening down the Help menu and provide the serial number in the Registration tab. Then click on Activate.

How to activate your Ozeki Bulk Messenger license?

After you purchased an Ozeki Bulk Messenger license you need to activate it with the serial number. Without activation, you can only use the software in trial mode. You will receive your serial number from Ozeki right after purchase. The following steps demonstrate how you can activate the trial version with your serial number.

First, you need to download the trial version of Ozeki Bulk Messenger. Then, go to Help menu's "Registration" menu item (Figure 1).

As the next step, enter your serial number you have received from Ozeki at Serial number edit box (Figure 2).

Finally, you just need to click on Activation button to make your license activated. If you enter a valid serial number and the activation is successful you will receive a notification about this fact (Figure 3).
