LDAP Authentication and LDAP addressbook

Generation of checklist with LDAP accessories in Ozeki Messages Server

Due to LDAP accessories, the Ozeki Message Server is able to connect to Domain Controller. It reaches the database being on the server through LDAP protocol. It collects the names and telephone numbers from the database of the server. By right of this, it builds own database - register. With practising of this method, we simplify modification of telephone numbers. The Ozeki Message Server will always use the actual telephone numbers.

Step 1 - Click on the Ozeki Server Monitor with right botton of mouse, then we choose Manage Service item (Figure 1.).

Step 7 - The Directory Server Settings screen pops up (Figure 7). Set again the server name of LDAP (arrow 1), and LDAP port number as well (arrow 2). In order to log in the server (through LDAP) we need an account. Fill in login name (arrow 3), as well as password (arrow 4) belonging to this. Below the searching section, you can set, which range or server you ask the datas from.

We finished testing on Windows 2003 and Linux too, which had an ACTIVE DIRECTORY service. The server name was win.ozeki.hu. At LDAP searching, we set the same server and it refers to dc=ozeki, dc=hu. So, if we would like to set to own server, than it is very important to parallel DNS address of server (arrow 1) with address (arrow 5).

In the textbook (arrow 6) we have a possibility to set the maximal period of the searching second. In the textbook (arrow 7) we can limit the number of a searching goals.
