Start application on incoming SMS

I don't seem to be able to get the Appstarter plugin running. I used c:\WINDOWS\system32\calc.exe for the adapter configuration for testing purpose. But it does not run the calculator?? It shows that the envelope is received by the plugin. But the calculator does not start???

Answer:

When you receive an SMS you expect the appstarter to display the calc.exe user interface. In order to achieve this you must give permission to the SMS Service to interact with the desktop. Here is what you should do: Open the service manager from the control panel, find the MessageServer service and open its properties (Figure 1).

On the properties form allow desktop interaction in the Log on tab (Figure 2).
