Configuring the server port

By default Ozeki Message Server 6 uses two ports to provide a service. The first port is 9333, the second is 9334. Port 9333 is used to access the user interface and the HTTP API. Port 9334 is available for SMPP and TCP/IP connections. In this guide we give you information about how to change these service ports.

To change the ports you must make sure the service is not running. To stop the service click on the "Stop service" menuitem of the service monitor application. After the service has been stopped, click on the service monitor icon again with the left mouse button and select the "Configure service" menu item (Figure 1).

This will bring up a form, that will allow you to enter a new port number. The port number you enter will be used for the user interface and the HTTP API, and the port number above this will be used for the SMPP and TCP/IP connections.
